Pilates Classes in West Lothian and Mid Lothian

Douglas Pilates classes are designed to help you achieve your health and fitness goals through expertly designed exercises, modified to your needs.  Because my Pilates classes are limited a maximum of 12 people, you will get plenty of personal attention.

Douglas Pilates classes, small groups and one-to-one personal training sessions are suitable for all, regardless of ability level or physical limitations.  Please feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss any specific issues/concerns.

What You Need

I supply a few mats, but most people like to bring their own.  If you don’t have a mat (pilates/yoga mat or similar non-slip type of exercise mat) you can use one of mine.  (Please mention this when you book so I know to bring one for you.)

Please wear comfortable, stretchy (i.e. non-restrictive) clothing.  Layers are a good idea so you can be warm/cool enough to suit you.  Socks or bare feet are fine.

Please also feel free to bring a pen/paper to make notes about the exercises and any modifications I might give you.  (If you want to.)

Fees

Class fees are £6 per session, payable in blocks of 10 (weekly) sessions, i.e. £60.

Blocks run over 10 consecutive weeks.  If you miss a class for any reason (e.g. you can’t make it one week) you may redeem that missed session by attending a session at any of the other classes listed above, instead.

Please note, I don’t offer one-of/pay-as-you-go sessions. This is because of the close attention I give to students, and the extra input beginners need.  However,  you can arrange to observe a class before signing up.  Please do have a chat with me if you have any questions about this.

Pilates Classes in Edinburgh

Currently I am not running any scheduled Pilates classes in Edinburgh.  However, the classes at Murieston Village Hall in Livingston are very handy (about 20 seconds walk) for Livingston South train station which connects with a number of stations between Edinburgh Waverly and Livingston.  Similarly the new Wednesday evening class in “Grand Central” Livingston is right next to Livingston North Train Station.
Linlithgow Low Port Centre is also just a few minutes walk from the train station (Linlithgow) which is on the main Edinburgh/Falkirk/ Glasgow line.

I would consider running Pilates classes in Edinburgh if there was enough demand – so please do let me know that you are interested…
